Why rent an electric car / Tesla?
Teslas are very advanced! They give an exciting driving experience. Technologically, a Tesla has a lot on board that you won't find in other vehicles. With comfortable seats and plenty of storage space in the front under the bonnet, also known as "Frunk", and in the rear of the trunk, a Tesla is also ideal for longer journeys. Thanks to Tesla's Supercharger network, you can now easily travel anywhere without having to wait long. Of course, you can also rent many other cars with internal combustion engines. The choice is huge. With our Tesla models, however, you can drive a car that surprises with comfort, sportiness and suitability for everyday use! It is an experience to get into this car and discover the technical possibilities. And the best: Our P85D with the "madness" function brings 700PS! It accelerates from 0 - 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds! These are the values of a super sports car. Our 3 Standard Range model impresses with its low consumption and a realistic range of 350 km. Nevertheless, it has features and functions like its bigger siblings. Electricity is included in the price. There are no additional costs for gasoline, as is the case with gasoline rental cars!
How exactly is the process?
You send an inquiry by email / phone. If availability is confirmed, you will receive a rental agreement, which you fill out and return to us and we will then issue your invoice. As soon as the money has been received, the Tesla is booked and reserved for you. You transfer the deposit with the invoice or bring it with you to the vehicle handover. A briefing will be given if you have not driven a Tesla before. Then you can start your adventure. When you hand over the car, we will draw up a return report and reimburse you the deposit if there are no damages. The reimbursement will be made in the same way as it was made.
Does the insurance have a deductible?
The cars are fully insured. Yes, there is a deductible in the event of damage or theft of:
-Tesla Model 3: € 1,500
-Tesla Model S: € 2,000
How many seats do the vehicles have?
The vehicles each have 5 seats including the driver.
Where does the handover take place?
Unless otherwise agreed, the handover takes place in Kettemerstraße in 70794 Filderstadt. Due to the proximity to Stuttgart Airport, we also offer delivery to the agreed terminal for a fee of 29 €. We offer a delivery / collection service in Filderstadt and further afield. For this, a fee of € 29 + € 0.50 is charged from the 11th kilometer onwards.
Which payment methods are possible?
The possible payment methods are: credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and of course cash.
Is there a deposit?
You transfer the deposit with the invoice or bring it with you to the vehicle handover. A briefing will be given if you have not driven a Tesla before. Then you can start your adventure. Do the Teslas have an autopilot?
Our Teslas are equipped with the "autopilot". When activated, the car steers, accelerates and brakes automatically. The driver is responsible for this at all times and must be ready to intervene. However, the driver must always be aware of the traffic.
Is it possible to add decor?
Flower arrangements for weddings, for example, are allowed as long as no traces or damage occur. Attaching cans is not possible and not allowed. For vehicle advertising over the rental period, please send us your request by phone or email.
Are other people allowed to drive the vehicles?
Only the people named in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the car. Additional drivers can be registered for a fee of 29 € per person.
Is there advertising on the vehicle?
The vehicle is completely unmarked. There is only a small print on the license plate frame
with "rent me - www.montorrent.de"
Who do the Teslas belong to? Who can drive?
Our vehicles are insured for paid rental. The following requirements must be met:
-Tesla Model 3: Minimum age 21 years and at least 1 year in possession of a driver's license
-Tesla Model S: Minimum age 25 and at least 3 years with a driver's license
Can the car be viewed beforehand?
The car can be viewed by appointment.
Can you also buy vouchers?
You can also purchase vouchers for renting a Tesla. Determine the time period. The voucher is valid for one year from payment. After payment has been received, you will receive the voucher by PDF or by post.
